Setting a clear framework for our work together is a vital part of both parties feeling psychologically safe. From this position of safety and containment we can begin the deep exploratory work.

With this in mind I try to be as clear as possible regarding the aspects of our work. Please see below.

Price

I charge £85 for individual therapy, i have very limited low cost places available for clients on a low income, or trainee therapists.

I charge £130 for couples therapy, the price is based on the fact that couples therapy last for 75 minutes.

Sessions

Individual sessions last 50 minutes, Couples therapy sessions are 75 minutes.

Where possible sessions are to be held at the same time each week.

I was always endeavour to rearrange a session where needed. I however will charge for missed sessions, as you are reserving a slot with me that I can not offer to someone else.

Payment

I accept payment by bank transfer or cash.

Payment can be made in arrears, after the session.

Confidentiality

Anything that is discussed in the sessions is held in the strictest of confidence.

Only in situations where I feel you are a serious threat to yourself or others will I consider breaking confidentiality, I will always try to do this in consultation with you.

Commitment

I take breaks throughout the year, which you wont be charged for. You won't be charged for going on holiday either.

Saying that, I do expect a level of commitment to the process. Frequently missing session will be thought about together and discussed.
