Experience and Areas of Expertise
In my previous career, I worked as a support worker for ten years in various homeless organisations in London. Throughout my career, I worked in a variety of settings including community, outreach and residential. I also worked with a variety of clients, including ex-offenders ex-offenders with serious offending histories, clients at risk of homelessness due to alcohol and drug use, plus severe and enduring mental health.
Working in these roles allowed me to develop an intimate knowledge of the criminal justice, social services and mental health systems, coupled with experience in safeguarding adults. I have an active disclosure and barring service check.
Throughout my training and now alongside my private practice, I work for an organisation offering long term individual therapy to clients with psychosis on a low-cost basis.
